Welcome
Seedorf Power Corp. builds on over 15 years experience
developing medium-scale solar and wind power projects in Europe to deliver
renewable electricity to Ontario. Announcements Seedorf Power Corp., in cooperation with Haliburton Forest and Wild Life Reserve, is developing 1 MW solar and 6 MW wind power projects as part of Haliburton Forest Renewable Energy Centre. |
![]() ![]() South-facing roofs over 700 m2 make for the best solar power projects. Ground-mounted projects can also be highly successful, although these can only be developed on land classes 3-7 in Ontario. More information here. |
![]() ![]() The best sites in Ontario are located at the eastern edge of lakes and open areas. Industrial wind turbines are usually 1-2 MW in capacity, and can be connected to the grid as either stand-alone turbines or in wind farms. More information here. |
![]() ![]() As part of Ontario's 2009 Green Energy Act, the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) is managing a feed-in-tariff (FIT) program. This FIT provides independent power producers an incentive to produce renewable electricity for Ontario's power grid. | ![]() ![]() A requirement of the FIT program is that all projects receive a Renewable Energy Approval (REA) to ensure they are environmentally sustainable. Project developers must also consult extensively with the local community. | ![]() ![]() We are interested in partnership opportunities with roof and land owners Seedorf Power Corp. info@seedorf.ca Ph: 613-532-7079 Fax: 613-249-7487 |
